Shree Datta Devasthan Trust

H.H. Sadguru Shri Ramkrishna Kshirsagar Maharaj at the behest of Shrimannrusimha Saraswati Swami’s decree(order),established Shri Datta Devasthan Trust for the propogation (work) of Vedas in 1974. The main aim of establishing this trust is to carry out the work of protection and preservation of Vedas.

To foster this work further, H.H. Sadguru established Vedant Vidyapeeth (University), where the Four Vedas are taught through Gurukul Pedagogy(method).

The scope of Shri Datta Devasthan Trust encompasses Vedant Vidyapeeth, Shri Dattakshetra,Tapovan Maruti Mandir, Goshala(cowshed), Smruti Mandir Of H.H. Sadguru, Many Satsanga Mandalas(religious institutions dedicated to foster the work of H.H. Sadguru) and his devotees and followers. 

Seeking Religious Alms holds utmost importance in the sect of Shri Dattatreya. Upholding this tradition H.H. Sadguru has directed his devotees to go door to door to seek alms for religious work. H.H. Sadguru has started Satsang Mandalas at various places within and outside Maharashtra. H.H.Sadguru has built this divine work thru Religious alms sought by his followers.

Shri Datta Devasthan Trust publishes many religious books (Granthas) containing the divine Guidance of H.H. Sadguru. ALso a tri-monthly magazine Shri Guruseva is also published by the trust.

This divine work entrusted by Lord Shri Dattatreya to H.H. Sadguru is carried out by Shri Datta Devasthan Trust. ALongwith religious work, the Trust is also involved in social work. Entirely depending on support by people , the trust’s work is carried out through preservation and protection of Vedas for the benefit of Human Race and well being of the universe at large.
